DANCE
PROGRAMS
Classes offered for boys and girls ages 3 through 11 in pre-ballet,
ballet, tap, and jazz. Each children's class is 45 minutes long and meets once a week. Sessions are 32 weeks, run from Sept-May,
and includes an optional Winter & Spring Performance at a local senior residential facility. (Small costume fees apply.)
Shorter 8 week workshops are offered on Saturday mornings as well.
*All classes held at our studio for ages 12

**Proper dance attire is required. All clothing and shoes can be purchased at "The Hip Joint" in downtown
Charlottesville (see links) Target, Payless, or can be order through our studio. **

FALL 2009-Spring 2010 CLASSES

TotBallet (ages 3 - 5):
Mondays 3:15pm (starts January 4th, 2010)
Pre-ballet including barre, French terminology, and creative
movement. Focus on fun and coordination.
Attire: Girls - Pink leotard, pink tights; pink ballet
shoes. Boys-t-shirt, black pants, black ballet shoes. Tuition:
$220.00 (Jan-May)

ComboKids (ages 5-7):
Mondays 4:00pm (starts January 4th, 2010)
A combination of ballet, tap, and creative movement including barre, floor exercises,
and focus on coordination and rhythm
Attire: Girls -black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes
AND black tap shoes . Boys - t-shirt, black pants, black ballet shoes. Tuition: $220.00 (Jan-May)

Ballet & Hip Hop Jazz(ages
7 -10):
Mondays 4:45pm (starts January 4th, 2010)
Ballet section with focus on technique, style, and coordination,
with barre and center exercises, and Hip Hop Jazz will focus on rhythm, style, form and taught combinations.
Attire:
Girls - Pink or black leotard, pink or black tights, Pink or black ballet shoes. Boys-white t-shirt, black pants, black ballet
or jazz shoes. Tuition: $220.00 (Jan-May)
